Next, create the body structure by dividing the paper into four equal vertical sections. Use a ruler and pencil to lightly mark the fold lines. Fold along each line to form the shape of a rectangular tube. When all sides meet, the paper will resemble the structure of a real bag, ready for the bottom to be sealed.
Step 3: Gluing the Paper Bag
The final stage is assembling and gluing the bag. Begin by gluing the short side seam to form the main tube shape—doing this neatly prevents wrinkles and makes the bag look clean and professional. Once the body is secure, start working on the bottom. Fold the two opposite sides inward and apply glue to secure them. Then fold the remaining flaps inward, making sure the edges align evenly.
Insert one hand into the bag to support the inside while pressing the bottom firmly with your other hand. This helps the glue bond better and ensures the base can hold some weight once dry. After the glue has fully dried, feel free to decorate the bag with custom stickers, printed logos, or personalized tags.
